As a German tax consultant, Daniel Anwander specializes in providing tax advice to internationally oriented companies and private individuals, as well as in tax optimization and tax planning activities. 

His areas of expertise include:

  • Inbound and outbound activities of companies
  • Transfer pricing
  • Double Taxation Agreements
  • Procedural regulations in connection with the bookkeeping, documentation and disclosure obligation in Germany
  • Tax law catch-up laws to combat misuse by relocation, transfer, postponements like e.g. the Foreign Transaction Tax Act (AStG).

In general, he advises on all issues of German and international tax law, which concern companies and individuals both resident in Spain and Germany and non-resident, as well as in the area of corporate transformations and cooperation (M&A). In addition, he also advises on VAT at national and European level (VAT system directive).

In this context he also offers advice in the field of tax enforcement, e.g. by obtaining binding information from the tax authorities and the implementation of a mutual agreement and arbitration procedure under Article 6 of the EU Arbitration Convention. 

Daniel Anwander is a certified business consultant at the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control and Finance and Subsidy Expert. In this area, he advises start-up and SME companies as well as companies in crisis situations ("Round Table" and "Turn Around" consulting).

He is a lecturer at the German Education Centre E-Wise and the Chamber of Commerce of the Region Stuttgart (GARP). In addition, he regularly acts as a speaker for various organizers and institutions, mainly on questions of international tax law.

Daniel Anwander is a member of the German Tax Adviser Association e.V. (DStV).




Daniel Anwander initially completed his formation as a tax clerk. Subsequently, he worked until his appointment as a tax consultant as a corporate customer advisor and group leader at a medium-sized tax consulting company in the district of Esslingen. 

Subsequently he founded his own office, which converted in 2011 into the Anwander & Bracher tax consulting firm PartGmbB (based near Stuttgart). 

Due to his specialization as a consultant for international tax law and his strong ties to Spain, Daniel Anwander has been working closely with Lozano Schindhelm in 2018.

In addition to the Costa Blanca, he offers his expertise in international tax law also to our clients in Bilbao, Madrid and Palma de Mallorca.
