Sonja Willner studied law at the Universities of Passau and Santiago de Compostela. She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court Düsseldorf with stations amongst others. in Barcelona. In 2006 she was admitted as a lawyer by the Bar Association of Frankfurt am Main. Since 2011 she has also been licensed as a Spanish lawyer (abogada) by the Bar Association of the Balearic Islands.
Sonja Willner has been working for Lozano Schindhelm since 2018 and manages the office in Palma de Mallorca. Prior to that, she worked in various international law firms in Germany and Spain for more than 10 years, most recently leading the German Desk of a well-known Majorcan law firm.
