Axel Roth studied law at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universty Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Université de Rennes I (France). He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg.
After several years as in-house counsel in a German company as well as renowned law firms in Barcelona, he joined Lozano Schindhelm in January 2019.

Axel Roth specialises in advising foreign companies in Spain, primarily in the areas of corporate law, M&A and the drafting and review of commercial contracts. In addition, he advises logistics and transport companies as well as their insurers in transport law matters.
He also regularly provides advice to domestic and foreign companies, managing directors, shareholders and other involved parties on corporate reorganisation, restructuring and insolvency avoidance.
Axel Roth is co-author of the Spain chapter of the “Beck Online Commentary on the Insolvency Code” published in the C.H. Beck publishing company.
He is admitted as a German lawyer to the Nuremberg Bar Association and as a Spanish lawyer („abogado“) to the Barcelona Bar Association.
Furthermore, he is a member of the German-Spanish Lawyers’Association, the Austrian-Spanish Lawyers’Association, the German Lawyers’Association, the German Association for Distribution Law and the German Association for Transport Law.
