Background

Maria Halatcheva completed in 2005 her Business Administration studies at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nürnberg (Germany). On the academic year 2001/2002 she obtained an Erasmus grant to spend a year at the University of Valencia.

Maria Halatcheva achieved during the academic year 2005/2006 a Master’s degree on Accounting and Audit at the University of Valencia. Beginning September 2006 and for seven years she worked as Account Auditor for one of the Big Four Audit firms.

Since Januar 2014 she manages the Accounting & Reporting department at Lozano Schindhelm.

Expertise

Maria Halatcheva advises predominantly on Accounting and Reporting to Spanish companies and subsidiaries of European corporations of several branches, with a special focus on the automobile and food industry, as well as the energy branch.

On the basis of the wide experience on these areas she achieved working for one of the Big Four, she is responsible of the audit of the annual accounts of companies of various sizes and sectors.

Maria Halatcheva has additionally substantial experience in consulting regarding all matters of Spanish corporate tax.
