Background

Elena Stern first studied law in her native country, Ukraine, and then she achieved a law degree at the Philipps University of Marburg in Germany with the field of interest in International Private and Corporate Law.

She completed her legal internship at the Courts of Federal State of Hessen and also in our firm.

Later she worked for a renowned law firm in the Costa Blanca area (Alicante) and became part of Lozano Schindhelm in September 2016, working between the Denia and Valencia offices.

Elena is member of the Bar Associations of Kassel (Germany) and Valencia (Spain).

Expertise

Elena Stern advises domestic and foreign clients in the areas of Civil and Public Law, being her specialties German and Spanish inheritance Law. One of her expertise fields is planning and completion of asset transfers, whether still in life or by death , including the resulting tax consequences. She is also specialized in the advice of real estate transactions with urban and/or environmental implications.

Moreover, she has wide experience in the area of Immigration Law and especially with the application procedures for residence and work permits and investor visas for Non EU-nationals.

Elena Stern is member of the German-Spanish Association of Lawyers.
