Background
Mercedes Aguado holds a degree in Law and Counsel for Business Enterprises from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE), as well as LL.M. in private international law from the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg in Breisgau. In turn, she is a graduate in canonical matrimonial law from the Universidad CEU Madrid.
She is a founding partner of the prestigious law firm Advocatia Abogados, where she has developed a great part of her professional career.
She has earned a solid reputation in the international legal advice of individuals and companies, which has undoubtedly contributed to her language skills such as English, German and Italian.
Mercedes Aguado joined Lozano Schindhelm in 2016 as Of Counsel.

Mercedes Aguado advises in cross-border transactions to national and international companies and to private clients and in corporate law, private international law and civil law and, in particular, in matters of investments, administration of estates, family law and international successions.
In parallel to her activity as a lawyer, Mercedes Aguado develops a very intense associative activity, as well as a lecturer and in the organization of congresses and other international legal events. Mercedes Aguado is a founding member and honorary president of the Austrian Hispanic Association of Jurists since its founding in 2009. She is also a frequent speaker in associations and private international law circles, where she has given many different lectures on bilateral Spanish-German issues.
She has been a lawyer at the Madrid Bar Association since 1993.
